NCP Reduced Sized MMC 1GB The RS-MMC Card is electrically compatible with the existing MMC standard and runs on the same bus. As an extension of the existing MMC Card standard^ the RS-MMC also allows mobile phone and consumer electronics developers to leverage their current MMC-based designs with no changes to software or electronics. This also allows for very low cost adapters that convert the RS-MMC Card into the MMC form factor. The adapter allows the RS-MMC to fit into existing MMC or SD Card slots^ and thereby provide compatibility with the rapidly growing number of MMC/SD compatible devices in the market.
