Specially designed to preserve the flat body concept, the innovative refractive 3x optical lens uses a prism to bend light 90° into an internal lens configuration of 10 lens elements in 8 groups. Unlike a conventional zoom lens which extends from the body, all of the zoom element movements occur internally.

• Real Photo Technology
Real Photo Technology is the synergy of three key elements - the Fujinon lens, the 6th-generation Super CCD HR, and the RP II (Real Photo) Processor. The RP II Processor performs double noise-reduction processing to achieve high sensitivity with minimized noise.

• PS (Picture Stabilization) Mode
Eliminate blurring caused by a fast-moving subject or camera shake with the powerful PS mode. With just one touch, the PS mode automatically sets the camera sensitivity to ISO 1600 and the optimum shutter speed to beautifully freeze the moment forever in sharp detail.

• Intelligent Flash
The Intelligent Flash of the Fujifilm FinePix Z3 can recognize scene conditions and automatically set the ideal balance of flash output and sensitivity. When using high sensitivity, the innovative Intelligent Flash feature automatically controls flash output to an appropriately low setting, thereby preventing "wash out" of the highlights, and underexposed backgrounds.

• Natural Light Mode & Natural Light with Flash
Under low lighting or strong backlight, it can be hard to decide whether to use the flash or not. This handy shooting mode lets you take the same shot with and without the flash with just one press of the shutter release. Automatically, one image will be taken using the intelligent flash, and immediately afterward, a second shot is taken with the ISO set to 1600 and the flash off. Later, you can decide to keep one or the other - or keep both for different moods.

• Fast Start-up
The Fujifilm FinePix Z3 is ready when you are. Just slide open the protective front panel, and in approx. 0.6 seconds, it is waiting for you to press the shutter. In addition, Z3 has a shortened shooting interval of 1.1 seconds and fast shutter release with a time lag of minimum 0.01 seconds.

• 2.5" LCD Display
Special reinforced glass used for the large 2.5-inch LCD enhances shock resistance, allowing you to take the Z1 everywhere with confidence. The reinforced glass coating of the LCD display provides scratch resistance that is much more durable than the acrylic coating found on most LCD displays. Furthermore, The LCDs Auto Gain function automatically adjusts brightness for optimum viewing anytime, whether inside or outdoors.

A host of shooting functions including the Post Shot Assist Window that lets you take the next photo while seeing the playback of previous shots, are supported by the unique Shooting/Playback interface for more intuitive operation.
