Moulded in the shape of a banana leaf, considered to be the most pure leaf
on which to make an offering to the gods, the gleaming brass tray is embossed
with the typical plantain leaf design. Firmly and immovably stuck in the tray
are three items used during worship. One, a seven-pointed diya or lamp to hold
seven cotton wicks; Two, an incense-stick holder that can support 3 incense
sticks; and Three, a bowl with a Ganesha-embossed lid to keep the anointing
powder. Even when you rotate the tray while doing the aarati, they will not
slide or move. There is ample space in this beautiful tray to keep flowers for
offering the gods.
Maintenance: Keep free from dust. Clean periodically with
Brasso/Pitambari powder or even with plain sliced lemon and water.
