Radha is so synonymous with Krishna, that almost every artist conceives his painting around this divine couple. In this squarish Tussar Silk painting, a master painter of Orissa, shows Krishna fondly embracing Radha, to the joy of the watching village maidens. A pair of white swans glides on a still blue pond, while the blue peacock complements the blue-god - both a striking contrast to the fair maids. Bright, vivid vegetable dyes and colors are used to add richness to this pleasant scene.
How to Display: This painting can be displayed in a protective glass (preferably non-reflecting glass) frame with a plain or ornamental border. This will help preserve the richness and lustre of its colors. You can also display it like any wall-hanging (unframed). Make sure that the painting does not get direct sunlight.
Maintenance Tips: If displayed unframed, do not hang the painting on a damp wall. Keep it clear of dirt and dust by cleaning it with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush. If the painting is being framed, then make sure the frame is air-tight.
