An extremely unusual and powerful yantra, delineating the power of Ayyapan, the god who combines in himself the power of both Vishnu and Shiva. This Yantra is not easy to obtain, as availability is dependent purely on the seasonal pilgrimages to the temple of Ayyapan, which is open only for about fifty days in each calendar year.
The Yantra depicts the classic intertwining of male and female triangles to form the six-pointed star of the Yaksha deities. Eight lotus petals surround it, upon which are inscribed Sanskrit mantras in Malayalam instead of the traditional Devanagari script. That itself makes this a rare Yantra. The lotus petals are further circumscribed by a final circle, which opens out into four cardinal direction pointing gateways. It is very much beside the norm to find this level of detailed inscription of bija or seed mantras on a Yantra.
Ayyapan is regarded as the supreme Yogi, being perpetually immersed in samadhi except on the days his temple is open. Hence this Yantra is of great efficacy for all those who are meditators. Ayyapan is also a supreme healer so all those who work with healing energies will find this a useful Yantra to possess.
This Yantra is made of Panch Dhatu, the most auspicious metal made from 5 metals - Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass & Iron and has been specially energized to radiate its beneficial powers. It can be placed in your place of worship at home.
