Geeta Malhotra (Shabana Azmi) had defied her father to marry Bhupi (Farooque Shaikh). She thought that her cup of happiness was full. It was half full. She was barren. She yearned for a child. A yearning that drove her to bring home a child left behind in a city bus. She had found her happiness! But the distraught parents of the lost child with the help of the law found Geeta.
