| This story is from the great Hindu epic, Mahabharata. The pandavas once performed “Rajasuya Yagna” with the desire to obtain the lordship of the world. In this yagna shishupal committed the fatal hundredth sin & krishna’s famous “Sudarshan Chakra” severed his head from the body.. Knowing Yudhisthir’s love for gambling Shakuni & Duryodhan persuade him to play a game of dice in which Pandavas lost everything & became slaves of Kauravas.They took Solitude for a period of thirteen years. Balaram had decided to give his daughter,Surekha in marriage to Arjun’s son,Abhimanyu. But as he learnt about banishment he decides to give her hand to Duryodhana’s son, Laxman. How could Abhimanyu allow this to happen! He set out with his mother Subhadra to abduct the beautiful Surekha. Will he succeed??? |
