| He is the elephant headed god, harbinger of good luck, the destroyer of obstacles. All prayers, poojas, any new venture all begin with a prayer to this god for success. Lord Krishna, the avatar that gave the world the Bhagvad Gita is himself a devotee of this benign, cherubic, big bellied god. Legend has it that Shree Ganesh became angry with the moon for having mocked him and issued a curse that whosoever looks at the moon on Bhadrapad Chaturthi (the first day of the 10 day Ganesh festival) will become the victim of an allegation or be blamed falsely for someone else's misdeeds. The story of this film deals with one such episode where the Lord of the Universe, Shree Krishna himself becomes the victim of such an allegation and the troubles he undergoes to free himself from the curse. |
